Wendy Ross –

“I was born in Sunderland (rather a few years ago now!) and started playing the violin at the age of 4 which eventually led to me following a career as a musician.  However art of all kinds has also very much been my passion for as long as I can remember, exploring and training in many styles and mediums,  Modern Art being my biggest influence.

A few years ago I developed my distinctive Organic/floral designs which became the subject of a Channel 4 Television programme. This was  themed around taking original creative art ideas and turning them into a small business venture.  Then, during the lockdown I also began making hats, and am proud to add them to my product range.

Nowadays I am mainly a professional musician, playing in a variety of bands both in the UK and abroad,   (more details of this on my News Page).    A while ago I started to sell some of my products at my gigs and as this quickly grew in popularity, I decided to start Wendy Ross Art online.

I make each item myself and my free, abstract style means that no two items are ever the same.  It is not often when originally crafted pieces are affordable, but this for me is what it’s all about – Original hand made items at affordable prices.
